This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application SkyviewFX Pro ("App"), developed and published by CosmicFlow Team.
SkyviewFX Pro provides weather forecasts, interactive weather maps, radar imagery, home screen widgets, optional live wallpaper features, and severe weather alerts. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed or stored, how it is used, how we obtain your consent, and your choices.
SkyviewFX Pro does not require account registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, mailing address, or phone number.
Depending on how you use the App, the following information may be accessed or stored on your device:
CosmicFlow Team does not operate its own servers to store user accounts or personal profiles.
Before you continue using location-based features, SkyviewFX Pro shows an in-app Location disclosure that explains:
You must take an affirmative action (for example, tapping “I understand”) before proceeding. Separately, if you choose a GPS option such as Follow me or Use GPS once, the App shows another in-app disclosure immediately before the Android system location permission prompt. You may cancel and pick a city instead.
The App does not access device location until you grant the Android location permission (or until you provide a location by searching for a city). Navigating away from a disclosure screen without accepting is not treated as consent.
Location is used only to provide local weather forecasts, radar, map layers, weather alerts, widgets, and live wallpaper information for your selected area.
You may choose how location is used within the App, including:
Foreground location only.
SkyviewFX Pro requests Android location permission for use while the App is in use
(or when a feature you configured, such as a GPS widget refresh or live wallpaper update,
needs a current position). The App does not request or use
Android’s background location permission
(ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION).
You may deny location access in Android settings and still use the App by selecting a location manually.
Sharing: Location coordinates may be included in requests to public weather and map providers solely to retrieve weather/map data for your chosen area. CosmicFlow Team does not sell location data and does not use location for advertising or ad tracking.
SkyviewFX Pro obtains forecast and weather information from public third-party providers, including:
Requests sent to these providers may include geographic coordinates necessary to retrieve weather information for your selected location. Those providers receive only the data needed to return weather results and are subject to their own privacy policies.
The App displays weather maps and radar imagery using publicly available data services. Depending on your location and settings, these may include:
Network access is required to download weather data, radar tiles, and map imagery. Map and radar requests may include coordinates for the area you are viewing.
SkyviewFX Pro may display forecast information, weather conditions, metrics, radar imagery, and selected locations through Android home screen widgets and optional live wallpaper features.
You can set each widget or the live wallpaper independently to:
App city search and wallpaper/widget GPS settings are separate. Searching a city in the main App does not change a GPS-configured widget or wallpaper to that city.
Widget and wallpaper preferences and cached forecast snapshots are stored locally on your device. These features do not publicly share your information.
With your permission, the App may send local notifications for severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service when enabled in settings.
You can enable or disable notifications at any time through Android system settings or within the App.
SkyviewFX Pro is distributed as a paid app on Google Play (one-time purchase at download). Payment is processed by Google Play. CosmicFlow Team does not receive or store your payment card information.
The App does not currently use in-app purchases or subscriptions. If billing options change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

SkyviewFX Pro does not display third-party advertising and does not use your data for ad tracking.
If advertising is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before implementation.
Reasonable measures are used to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
SkyviewFX Pro does not maintain user accounts and generally does not store personal information on servers controlled by CosmicFlow Team.
Saved preferences, locations, widget settings, wallpaper choices, and consent status may remain stored locally on your device until you remove them or uninstall the App. Android backup features may also store some app data according to your device settings.
SkyviewFX Pro is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, or third-party services.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
